We’re going to talk about cigars for a minute. I guess I have to qualify this by saying I’m not a smoker, however I used to smoke cigarettes many years ago. I smoked for a long time but I was never a big fan of cigars.

Well, I got a whole series of emails, it’s amazing. I don’t consider what I do pornography. I realize that some people do. Obviously, cause I have five emails sitting here in front of me of people telling me that I produce and that I shoot porn. I disagree. I completely disagree.

It comes up pretty regularly in my profession. It’s an accountant sitting there going, “Excuse me. Why in the world do you need to spend so much money to go to Fiji or Tahiti or the Dominican Republic to do these shoots?

I got that email again today. The email I’m talking about is the same as the question in the workshops and seminars: What’s the secret? How do you get those images of those women? How do you achieve that? What is the secret? Tell me the secret.

Last night I was asked to teach a class for Austin Community College Photography Department. It was a fashion photography class. I was asked to come in and do a presentation on my lighting, production and answer any questions the class had. Their instructor Jeremy Green asked me to come in and do this.
